Trinidad ISD has been given an allotment of Covid-19 tests to benefit our community. These are free to the residents of Trinidad. Please note: Trinidad ISD is not a testing site. However, if your family would like to acquire some of these tests to have on hand at home they are available to you. The number of tests given will be based upon each family’s household size. Please call the school to set a time to pick them up, if you are interested.

Trojans, our third six weeks elementary awards assembly will be Wednesday, January 24th at 10:00 in the dome gym. We hope to see you there!

Update: School will be in session at the regular start time tomorrow, January 18. The gas line that experienced a leak is shut off and is in the process of being repaired. TISD appreciates your support and flexibility.

While performing security upgrades for our district, the contractors accidentally hit a gas line. Trinidad ISD takes the safety of our students, staff, and surrounding community seriously. While we don't think that there is imminent danger, we choose caution at this time. TISD will release classes early today, starting now. Please follow social media on updates of when classes will resume. Sorry for any inconvenience caused. All students will release from the elementary building.

Trojans, classes will resume tomorrow, January 17 at regular start time.

Important: Out of an abundance of caution, Trinidad ISD will be closed Tuesday, January 16. Staff and student safety is priority at TISD and we must ensure that all roads and bridges are safe for travel. We will continue to monitor the weather and will update as needed. Stay safe and warm!

Trojans, this is a reminder that school will be closed on Monday, January 15th in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. We will be watching the weather and keep you informed of any updates on school closure via Facebook, the TISD website and the TISD Alert Messaging System. Have a great weekend and stay warm!

You don't want to miss this! Come and see the final performance of Trinidad Jr. High's FIRST PLACE WINNING One Act Play!
