Parents, be on the lookout for your student's STAAR report cards in the mail. Please contact the school if you do not receive it or if you have any questions or concerns.
Trojan Pride monthly meetings are set!
Reminder! There will be no school Monday, September 4th, in observance of Labor Day. School will resume on Tuesday, September 5th.
Parents, tomorrow is GAME DAY and we will be having a pep rally in the dome gym at 2:30. In order to ensure the safety of our students, we want to provide everyone with pep rally procedures for the entire season. Once the pep rally is over, students will be required to go back to class with their teacher. This means that students will not be able to be signed out at the gym and will not be able to leave with you from there. If you wish to take your child home early, they MUST be signed out at the front office. Otherwise, they will be dismissed at regular time to the bus or car rider line. This will apply for all pep rallies this season. Thank you so much for your support in helping us keep all of our students safe! 😊
We hope to see everyone at the game Friday night at Trojan Field. Kick off is at 7:00! Let’s all show up and make some noise as we hunt down the Gholson Wildcats!
Reminder… If you are the parent/guardian of a TROJAN BLEACHER CREATURE, they must wear their t-shirt to get in free! T-shirts will be sent home today. GO TROJANS!
Our Kindergarteners had a special surprise visit yesterday from Fireman Kaleb Eastman while learning about letter F! They were so excited!
Trojans, we have some exciting news! During football season this year, we will show our spirit by having a different theme every Friday. This Friday, we need everyone to wear their CAMO as we hunt down the Gholson Wildcats! We will put out theme days for the entire season early next week. GO TROJANS!
IT'S GAME DAY TROJANS!
Reminder!
Trinidad Ex Student Association Meeting!
We would like to inform students and Parents alike of the new and updated 23-24 school year menu. Please have a look and note the special highlighted areas regarding Pre-K Students.
Trojans, we are off to a great start! We feel that it is important for you to know that TISD is dedicated to strengthening the relationships between teachers/staff and parents/guardians. This year we are focused on academics, environment, safety, parent involvement, and building up our school community. This week, you can expect a phone call from your child’s teacher. We ask that you please use this opportunity to have a positive conversation with us in order to help grow this line of communication. If you haven’t received a phone call by the end of Wednesday, reach out and let us know. Please remember, YOUR INPUT MATTERS! Our hope is that we can work together to establish the kind of relationship for our children that will help us ensure success and stability for all students.
Announcement! Bleacher Creature shirts will be delivered next week. No worries though! If you signed up, you are more than welcome to come run out and support the Trojans this Thursday night. We apologize for the delay. We hope to see everyone there!
Deadline for bleacher creature shirts is TODAY at NOON! Adults are more than welcome to buy shirts, but will still have to pay to get into games. Thank you for your support!
Trojans, please join us for the FIRST ANNUAL TRINIDAD HOMECOMING 5K RUN! Forms will be located in the elementary and high school offices. Get signed up soon to help support Trinidad ISD Athletics!
Don't forget to sign your little ones up to be Bleacher Creatures this football season! Forms are due tomorrow!
Thank you William Ramsey for your positive attitude and willingness to keep our students safe. Much appreciated!
REVISED FOOTBALL SCHEDULE!
Important information for FFA/Ag students!
I want to take a moment to thank all of the parents, staff, board members and community that made it to our Meet The Teachers/Trojans tonight. I also want to thank our campus administration for the work and planning that was put into our teacher in-service week. TISD has a great staff assembled and they are ready to get their wonderful students back in class and learning. Thank you Trojan Pride and TISD Cafeteria for providing meals and your services all week. Also, thank you to our Police Chief and TISD Maintenance/Ag for working so hard this summer to get big projects completed to ensure a cleaner, safer school. PARENTS, the school is asking for and welcomes your involvement in your child's education and extracurricular activities. Please communicate with your child's teachers and administrators, come to events, join our Trojan Pride Organization and let's build a support system for the kiddos and each other. I am grateful for events like tonight and I look forward to a positive, successful school year. Go Trojans!
Sincerely,
Mr. Mizell
