Several people were recognized and presented with certificates of appreciation for their donation of time and resources at last week’s TISD board meeting.
Certificates were presented to those in attendance which included Sheriff Botie Hillhouse, Cathy Arnold and Della Cooper from the East Texas Crisis Center, Chief Bryan Miers with Trinidad Police Department, Patrick Parker and Mike Ayala with TISD, Steven Haynes, and Ray Crocker. Not pictured are Phillip Surls with Ironhorse Unlimited Inc. and Gary Dixon with Providence Equipment.
This group was instrumental in helping with major projects over the summer including the elementary floors and demolition of the old gym. TISD thanks these individuals for their efforts in helping to improve the overall environment and safety of our campus.

Progress reports will be sent home today! Parents, please be sure to sign and return your student's progress report so that they will be able to turn it in to their 2nd period teacher. As always, please feel free to contact your child's teacher with questions or concerns.

How cool is this?!?! Mrs. Gaddis's Forensic Science class stumbled upon a crime scene this week. No worries! Trojan CSI detectives cracked the case quickly. 😃
Parents, be on the lookout for your student's STAAR report cards in the mail. Please contact the school if you do not receive it or if you have any questions or concerns.

Reminder! There will be no school Monday, September 4th, in observance of Labor Day. School will resume on Tuesday, September 5th.
Parents, tomorrow is GAME DAY and we will be having a pep rally in the dome gym at 2:30. In order to ensure the safety of our students, we want to provide everyone with pep rally procedures for the entire season. Once the pep rally is over, students will be required to go back to class with their teacher. This means that students will not be able to be signed out at the gym and will not be able to leave with you from there. If you wish to take your child home early, they MUST be signed out at the front office. Otherwise, they will be dismissed at regular time to the bus or car rider line. This will apply for all pep rallies this season. Thank you so much for your support in helping us keep all of our students safe! 😊
