Yes, those are Trojans at the State Capital and we couldn't be more proud! TISD would like to give a huge shout out to Alexis Williams! She just won third place at the STATE UIL Congress Contest! What an accomplishment! Your school and community are proud of you, Alexis. Congrats to you and the rest of the Trojan Congress Team on an extremely successful year. The JV Girls, Varsity Girls and Varsity Boys basketball games scheduled for Friday, January 10th have been moved to Monday, January 13th, starting at 4:30. Go Trojans!
Trinidad ISD is aware of the possible chance of winter weather on Thursday and/or Friday. If the decision is made to close school or release early, parents and guardians will be contacted through our TISD alert system via text message. The Trinidad ISD Facebook page will also have the most up to date information as well.
The Middle School basketball game previously scheduled for Thursday has now been moved to tomorrow, Wednesday, January 8th at 4:00 in the Trojan Dome! 😊

Week #3 in the books! We have made so much progress in such a short period of time. New lights in the elementary gym, new adjustable goals in the high school gym so all age groups can practice and play in there, and other schools are calling us asking if they can play games! This will be our last week of practices until we come back from the Christmas break. Practices will resume Monday, January the 6th and then get ready for the big opening weekend! We will be playing Murchison in the Trojan Dome on January the 11th! There is a schedule of the games for that day in this post. If anyone wants to volunteer to help out and do anything during the day, that would be greatly appreciated. Just reach out to one of our board members.
