THE PLACE WE CALL HOME

Welcome Letter

"What's in it for the kids?"

Trinidad ISD

Trinidad Independent School District is a small rural district covering 15 square miles. Dynamite still comes in a small package. Students are  taught by a family oriented staff. Student success is our business. Trinidad offers an array of opportunities for students to perform and compete, including football, volleyball, basketball, baseball, softball, and track. FFA and One Act play are also traditionally successful programs offered by TISD. We strive to help develop the complete child (physically, academically, socially, morally, and ethically). The district implores all stakeholders (staff, students, parents, businesses, and community members) to be involved in planning, and implementing programs to ensure its continued success.  There is a place for you. Consider becoming a Trojan. Go Big Blue!

For centuries, businesses, companies, and yes even schools have referred to their employees as “family”. I can truly say that Trinidad ISD is a family. We have generations of success stories behind us, and the potential to create many more in the future. I’m appreciative of our dedicated students, staff, parents, and community. We are continually asked to do more with less, but together we rise to the challenge. We know that challenges create opportunities. We gain strength from one another and from the support of our community partners. It’s not too late to “Be Part of Something Bigger Than Yourself”. Join the family today with your presence, ideas, gifts, and talents. I have been asked on numerous occasions, when am I going to face the facts. Well the long awaited answer is here.

The fact is: “WE BLEED BLUE & GOLD!
